The CATERING page is for PRE-PAID events. Please click HERE. This page is for public events. Happy reading!
It's hard to completely list all jungle contents, but here are our most popular items! Not every item is served at every event, though. We tailor our menu by the atmosphere of each event we are catering. We only use fresh, all natural ingredients. We try and use organic when possible and also incorporate Michigan-made products as well such as Better Made chips and Faygo. *We serve a wide variety of items. If you would like to see a certain food item served at an event, please let us know! Most likely we can accommodate your request!
🐵Gyros - Lamb, Roasted Chicken, Roasted Veggies We slap seasoned gyro meat on a grilled pita slathered with fresh tzatziki sauce. Then we load it up with lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumber, and feta cheese.
🐵All-Beef Hot Dogs Only the best will do here! All-beef hot dogs served in a warmed bun. Just like your mom made them. Only not in a microwave. Or minus the bun. *Ask about our hot dog bar - a fierce selection of hot dogs with added ingredients. Try the Riverdawg which is a nod to my son's old baseball team - baked beans and crushed chips! Or one of the following: -New Yorker: stone ground mustard, sauerkraut, onions -Chicagoan: pickle, tomatoes, onions, relish -National Coney Dog: loads of coney sauce, onions, and liquid gold if desired! -Cheesy Bacon: cheese + bacon
🐵Wraps For the "healthier" crowd, we circled the jungle and came back with bacon. Hence, the BLT. These heavily-stuffed wraps are served on a wrap du jour. We also have chicken caesar wraps served on a wrap du jour with warmed grilled seasoned chicken and loads of lovely parm. And the extra dreamy Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap which I feel you can figure out. Don't forget to try our Michigan wrap that has spinach, dried cherries, grilled chicken, feta cheese, pecans, and truck-made raspberry vin lovingly hugged by a wrap du jour. Can't decide? Try one of our build-your-own wraps. That way you can have your not cake and eat it too.
🐵Loaded Nachos Seriously yum. The. End. No, not the end. But when we're in your jungle, make sure you try these. Seasoned to complete amazingness, try either truck-roasted chicken or pork, or chipotle-seasoned ground beef. These are served over a not-so-comfortable bed of corn tortilla chips. Then we add a landslide of liquid gold (truck-made cheese sauce, no fake canned cheese), lettuce, toms, onions, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and jalas. We top it all off with a sprinkling of Mexican cheese! We can also add fresh, mashed pinto beans!
🐵Street Tacos: Roasted Chicken, Vegan Crumbles, Roasted Pork, Ground Beef Tacos served on your choice of flour or corn tortillas (I'm a flour girl, but these are excellent on corn!), topped with a Mexican slaw and a crumble of Mexican cheese.
🐵 Sliders We load up the b's (buttered bakery buns) with roasted pork butt. So yum. We also have hamburger patty sliders that we hand press with seasoning. These can be topped with our fresh nacho cheese sauce. In addition, we have roasted bbq chicken or buffalo blue chicken with hunks of blue cheese!
🐵Truck-made Soups There are too many to name that we just say "du jour" which means "of the day" if you skipped that lesson in 9th grade French. We tend to always have chicken noodle and a potato-y one as well, but then we may throw in a butternut squash or tomato tortellini, or a Mexican street corn (my personal fave).
🐵Truck-made Donuts There have been a lot of "who knew" moments on this truck adventure, but the biggest one has been, who knew we would learn to make the most delectable donuts in the solar system? Our donuts are completely, unbelievably, undeniably good. (Kind of anticlimactic wording, right?) But even a picture - and go look at some samples in our photo gallery - can't begin to show the essence of our donuts. Must. Eat. One. That's our motto here. So, we make donuts. Yada. Yada. What type of donuts? Well, old-fashioned. Old fashioned dipped in vanilla. Old-fashioned dipped in chocolate. Chocolate sprinkles. Carnival sprinkles. That's just the old-fashioned variety. There's also chocolate, mocha, strawberry, blueberry, cider cinnamon, caramel apple with sea salt, Penni's Pumpkin Praline, blueberry crumble, cherries jubilee, Midnite Porker (think bacon), maple-glazed bacon. (We'll pretty much add bacon to anything.) Plus a bajillion more. But I need to stop now. My kid is eating a hot dog. Without a bun. And pizza rolls. For dinner. *Ask about our create-your-own donuts as seen at 2016's Arts, Beats, & Eats!
🐵Delectable Donut Sundaes Now, imagine one of the bajillion donuts from above. Add a hefty layering of Michigan-made chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Then add Hershey's syrup, hot fudge, or caramel, or all of them. Plus, whipped cream, sprinkles, cherry. Warm donut, cold ice cream, warm toppings. BAM.
NEW in 2018: Donut Dump! Yep, this is a food truck rally specialty! 6 donuts cut into hunks, 2 bananas cut into hunks, 9 scoops of hand-dipped ice cream (cut into hunks...wait, no, just scooped), EVERY.SINGLE.TOPPING. on board, mounds of whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries!
🐵Smoothies *New in 2019: vegan option using coconut "milk"! Fresh, made-to-order smoothies using an assortment of fresh fruit and yogurt. 🐵Drinks We serve Faygo products, water products, truck-made flavored lemonade (seasonal), and truck-made flavored iced tea (seasonal), coffee (when it's morning), and hot cocoa (when it's cold).
🐵Breakfast Lest I forget a very important part of your day, when you are fortunate enough to wake up and stumble to our truck, you will find the most delectable delights awaiting you! We will serve you an assortment of breakfast wraps (eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, grilled veggies rolled into a large flour tortilla) or maybe donut french toast* (I like asterisks so I'm using them now.), organic vanilla yogurt berry parfait* (again with the asterisk), mini cinnamony vanilla pancakes*, and then there's the donuts and coffee option for the non-waiters. Now look at the asterisks here. *donut french toast: THREE donuts battered in cinnamon-y goodness and served with either berries or just ho-hum plain syrup. But you can redeem yourself with whipped cream. *yogurt berry parfait: organic vanilla yogurt layered with a triple berry mix and topped with a truck-made granola mixture made with local Clarkston honey!
🐵And More! You want it? We can most likely add it to our menu. Just ask!
*We try and accommodate food and allergy-free requests. Ask for a gluten-free wrap or a veggie-filled option!
